Quilt and Flowers

Introducing the Heirloom collection. A true collaboration between my great grandmother and myself. I utilized her handmade traditional doilies as the background of two pieces, enclosing my own punch needle work in a warm comforting hug. This piece takes inspiration from the quilts that you could find scattered around my home growing up.

It's a little different from the other pieces since the entire piece is fully punched with wool yarn, rather than leaving some of the space empty. This piece has been stretched and framed in a hand stained frame. It is already prepared to be hung from the saw tooth hanger on the back.

Recommended Hanging Hardware:

I typically use the OOK hanging hardware. I use two hangers for something the has a dowel rod and only one hanger for anything that has a saw-tooth hanger or other pieces that come with a d-ring. You can get them at any hardware store and are super nice since the nail is at an angle, the frame or dowel rod sits nicely into the crevice created.
